Mini Introduces 2026 Updates With Higher Prices And Expanded Features

Mini Announces 2026 Prices And More Cool Options

Mini has announced 2026 model year pricing for its entire lineup, along with a few key updates to a range that includes the still-fresh Cooper and Countryman. As has always been the case with the cheerful brand, customization is a key part of what makes buying a Mini so fun, so customers will appreciate the introduction of new packages for specific models. These updates should further boost Mini sales, which were already up in the first quarter of 2025.

John Cooper Works Style Package Available On More Models

The JCW pack is now available for every S-badged Mini, including the Cooper and Countryman. This racy pack adds the following upgrades to your Mini:

Mini also adds that the scope for customizing the sport stripes on the body has been broadened, with various combinations for the roof and mirror caps. JCW Style variants with the Iconic sub-trim can now be had with black sport stripes with a Jet Black or body-color roof and mirrors.

If you want a true performance bump from your Mini, you’ll have to spend more on the JCW models. But if you’re happy with the S models’ power and are looking for more style, the JCW Style Pack will cost $1,200 for the Cooper hatchback and $1,400 for the Countryman crossover.

Enhanced Digital Key And New Countryman Wheels

Mini models produced on or after July 1, 2025, will have the upgraded Mini Digital Key Plus system, which means you can unlock and start the car with your smartphone. A pair of setup and service cards will replace one of the physical keys on such models, as the brand chases more digital integration across the lineup. It’s worth noting that only vehicles with Comfort Access will benefit from this change, and convertibles are excluded.

For Countryman S ALL4 models, buyers can equip a new 18-inch Asteroid Spoke wheel, free of charge. It’s a black wheel design with all-season tires.

Here’s What Every 2026 Mini Model Costs Now

Looking at 2026 pricing, only one Mini variant costs less than $30k, and that’s the base Cooper Hardtop 2-Door, which starts at $29,500; remember, this is one of the smallest new cars you can buy. Here’s a look at base pricing across the range.

Besides the Countryman, all MSRPs above are for the Signature trim; expect to pay around $4,000 more for the top Iconic trim. The Countrymans are only available in Signature Plus and Iconic trims.

In short, Mini ownership remains a pricey proposition. You’re paying for the desirable badge, chic design, and appealing driving dynamics of these cars – but there are more practical alternatives for much less.
