The video of the automobile has gone viral on social media, leaving people speechless. People responded in a variety of ways, with a netizen commenting on how this drone-equipped automobile is ideal for Bengaluru traffic.
BYD, China's leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has unveiled an innovative feature in its latest models: a roof-mounted drone system known as "Lingyuan." Developed in collaboration with DJI, a global leader in drone technology, this system allows drivers to capture panoramic videos and monitor road conditions directly from their vehicles.
The Lingyuan drone system is integrated into the vehicle's roof, enabling seamless takeoff and landing, even while the car is in motion at speeds up to 33 mph. Priced at approximately $2,200, this feature is initially available in models such as the Sealion 07 DM-i hybrid and the Tang L electric SUV, expanding from BYD's premium Yangwang U8 SUV.
This innovation underscores BYD's commitment to enhancing the driving experience through advanced technology, setting a new benchmark in the competitive electric vehicle market.
